Benzoin Collection
Benzoin is a golden-colored, aromatic, thick resinous oil obtained from the Styrax benzoin trees bark. It is a nature-made antiseptic product that has been used for centuries as a disinfectant and as a damaged skin refiner.
To many sweet vanilla-like aroma of benzoin reminds of a "churchy" aura, because benzoin is a major component of incenses used in monasteries and in spiritual ceremonies.
Our scented collection is inspired by Armenian Paper (also called Papier d'Arménie, fr. or Carta D'Armenia, It.), a type of incense that has been known in Armenia for millennia. The paper is infused with essences, fragrances or essential oils to pleasantly scent spaces.
